Innovative Teaching Grant

Innovative Teaching Grant: If there’s a professional development workshop or training, or new tool that would enhance your teaching skills and supplement your classroom learning, we invite you to apply for the Innovative Teaching Grant. This grant is focused on the individual educator and improving his/her instructional skills. Funding is available up to $500.

Collaborative Grants

Collaborative grants are designed to provide resources for innovations that impact an LISD program, entire campuses, an academic department or a grade level and that have the potential to significantly impact student achievement. Funding is available up to $5,000.

Book Request

Leander ISD staff, PTA organizations, and local community groups are welcome to request free children’s books to distribute to LISD students and families. The LEEF team will make every effort to fulfill your book needs and will approve requests on a case-by-case basis based on our current book supply.

The books are gently, used donated books, therefore LEEF is unable to provide specific titles.

Please submit your request by completing our book request form below at least 30 business days prior to the date on which the books are needed. If you require your books sooner you’ll have to make arrangements with LEEF to pick them up, LISD facilities requires a minimum of 2 weeks to deliver.

Do you know a community member or business who wants to host a book drive? Encourage them to click the button below for more information.

If you have any questions, please contact LEEF at or call 512-570-0027.
