The Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation supports teachers, principals, and all campuses across LISD. We want to expand our ability to give schools and school leaders the tools and resources to ensure all students have what they need to be successful. That’s where you come in …
By becoming a LEEF Ambassador, you can help promote this mission and related opportunities – events, campaigns, and stories – on your school campus. We will work with you to share news and updates through your school’s social media presences, newsletters, website, school newspaper, PeachJar flyers and more. And with your help, more educators and parents from your campus will become aware of the benefits of Project Grad, teaching grants, AP scholarships, college coaches at each high school, supplemental reading programs, Incubator programs and much more.
If you are interested in being considered as a LEEF Ambassador, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 512-570-0027.
Additional Volunteer Opportunities
LEEF needs dedicated individuals interested in serving the community as board members or as a volunteer in any of our program initiative areas. Contact any board member for more information on how to volunteer or contact us at email@example.com. The success of our foundation depends on each of us.
- Used Book Drive – Last year we gave out more than 6,000 books and we are receiving more requests for books this year. Host a book drive and help replenish our used book reserves.
- Event Planning and Staffing – We need volunteers to plan for our four yearly events. There are many different roles available to meet your availability and interests.
- LEEF Ambassador – Help us get the word out at your child’s LISD school.
