Our Mission:  The Leander Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to improving the educational experience for all Leander ISD students and staff. 

Our Vision: Through strategic partnerships with community members and business donors, LEEF provides funds to support educational programs and initiatives to provide opportunities and improve the educational experience for all students in the Leander ISD community

History: LEEF was founded in 2007 by a group of volunteers who understood that state funding was not enough to meet the needs of our Leander Independent School District (LISD) students and staff. Additional resources were critical to support innovation, enrichment and equity in pursuit of academic excellence within LISD.

LEEF supported its mission through three main program initiatives: early literacy, innovative teaching grants and professional development, and College & Career Readiness to build a college and career-ready culture among all students.
