The Leander Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) at Leander ISD’s Convocation awarded 32 Collaborative grants to district educators totaling $ 118,558.85. The funding will support 29 different campuses and departments and impact over 31,000 students. LEEF’s commitment to the students and educators in Leander ISD includes giving our teachers the opportunity to apply for grant funds for projects and programs that are important to student success, but not available from state funding.
LISD’s Convocation theme this year is #NoPlaceLikeLISD and Glinda the good witch along with other Wizard of Oz characters welcomed Leander ISD staff back to campus with lots of hugs, laughs and summer stories.
