Leander Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) has received a $15,000 grant award from Lam Research Foundation, an advised fund of Silicon Valley Community Foundation to support technology, internet access, and food security programs for Leander ISD (LISD) as the impact of COVID-19 continues.
LEEF’s Executive Director Kristen Huguley shared her gratitude for the ways that community members and business leaders continue to rise up and help LEEF meet the challenges faced since March of last year.
“The LEEF team is thankful for everyone who has reached out to find ways to support LISD students, teachers, and their families throughout the pandemic,” Huguley said. “The funding from the Lam Research Foundation will ensure that we can continue to be responsive to our community’s needs.”
