Through its grant program that started in 2007, LEEF has awarded more than $4.4 million to thousands of teacher projects that support innovative classroom practices and educational opportunities for all LISD students. We’ve funded STEM and makerspaces, writing workshops, professional development, outdoor learning spaces, equipment for special education, literacy initiatives, and more. Where LEEF can make a life-changing impact is its districtwide initiatives like College & Career Coaches, literacy programs and teacher retention. As a result of our community supporters, our teachers feel supported, our students are engaged and LEEF continues to drive excellence in education across Leander ISD.
