Meet the Board – Rachelle Grossman

LEEF Board Member

“Knowledge opens doors. Knowledge arms us with the tools, characteristics, self-confidence, and self-sufficiency to thrive in a world of opportunity. When all students have access to education, they become the do-ers, dreamers, and leaders of tomorrow. Education unlocks vital skills like good decision making and communication skills an individual needs to make their dreams and ambitions a reality!”

Name: Rachelle Grossman
Company: N2 Publishing – Life in the Ranch & The Vista Today
Title: Owner/Area Director

Rachelle owns and operates two community publications as well as hosts a social media talk show. She helps businesses with their marketing efforts by connecting them to residents in their targeted demographic through print and digital advertising, positive editorials about their business, event, and video publicity.

She moved to Texas in 2011 with her family, and they’ve enjoyed every single day! Her husband, David, is a Global Commodity Manager at Dell, EMC and they have three children. Alexandra will be a senior in the 2020-2021 school year and their twins, David and Kaylee will be sophomores.

Rachelle’s Why: I joined the LEEF board because I truly believe a big part of my journey (and really any business owner’s path) should be time spent giving back to the community you serve! Education gives us a knowledge of the world around us and forms each one of us as individuals into productive members of society. As a parent, I feel it’s important that we capture our enthusiasm for learning and share this with the younger generation. All children should have access to a quality education guided by teachers and the loving support of their community.

Fave Book: The Giving Tree – by Shel Silverstein

Fave Way to Spend Time: Traveling! Expanding my world view.

Fave Movie: Oh my! There are too many favorites to select just one. ET, Beauty and the Beast, The Shawshank Redemption, The Wizard of Oz, Hidden Figures, The Pursuit of Happiness, Singing in the Rain, Casablanca, The Help, Goodwill Hunting are some that come to mind! I LOVE inspiring movies that force you to think and feel. I love a movie that showcases someone having to overcome adversity or a hardship and then makes the best of the life they’re given!

Fave Holiday: I LOVE Christmas. The spirit of the season is personally meaningful to me. Christmas is celebrated to acknowledge the birth of Jesus Christ about 2000+ years ago. Christians believe that he is the son of God sent to save the people of the earth and give them eternal life. Christmas allows for all of us to come together and spend quality time enjoying our family and the many blessings in our lives!
