Our Wrinkle in Time-themed 10th Annual Gala was nothing short of magical! Nearly 350 guests gathered at The Crossover for an unforgettable evening filled with inspiration, celebration, and generosity—raising an incredible $176,000 to support student and educator success in Leander ISD.
A student-led saxophone ensemble from Cedar Park High School set the perfect tone for the evening, filling the cocktail hour with smooth, live music.
The night kicked off with an out-of-this-world theatrical performance by Henry Middle School theatre students, who transported the audience into the opening scene of A Wrinkle in Time.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) students played a major role in the event’s success! Floral design students from all six LISD high schools created gorgeous centerpieces, while culinary students from Glenn and Cedar Park High Schools wowed guests with beautifully crafted and delicious desserts.
The heart of the evening arrived when Vandegrift High School Vocational Teacher Sharon Mccolister took the stage alongside Glenn High School alumni Lathan Coffee and Remi Jobi. Their heartfelt stories highlighted the life-changing impact of LEEF’s programs, reminding everyone why their support matters. LEEF Board Member Na’Cole Thompson led the conversation.
From the funds raised through our exciting live and silent auctions to the inspiring stories shared, the gala was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together. Thank you to all who attended and supported LEEF’s mission—your generosity is shaping the future of LISD students!
